MARBLE, STONE & GRANITE
MARBLE
From Antiquity for sculpture to the present days for architecture, marble has travelled through generations. This natural stone is a noble and rare material, derived from limestone. It has a soft and homogeneous touch. It can be of different colours, however, the veins (called marbling) are the main features.
There are important marble deposits in France, Itlay, Portugal, Greece, and Belgium, each with a particular colour.Marble is usually used for interior or exterior decoration.

LIMESTONE
Limestone is present everywhere in France. It is used for facade (interior or exterior), floor or wall cladding. It exists different colours of limestone: white, cream, ochre, grey…
The formation of limestone results from living beings present around. So, embedded fossils can be found as well as more or less deep veins.
The random colours and varieties then, make the limestone unique and exceptional.

GRANITE
Granite is a rocky and granular natural stone. It is characterised by its grains, crystals from different other natural stones such as Quartz.
Often used in outdoor paving due to its high resistance, granite is more and more used for interior decoration.
